Change your body language, change your brain

Body language begins in the brain. So you’d think that if you work on your thoughts, beliefs, and mindsets, think positively, and develop your self-confidence, your body language would naturally fix itself.

Nope.

Old habits die hard. It takes awareness and intention to alter your habits. While your posture and voice tone and other nonverbals will improve as you change your mind, they won’t become perfect overnight.

But there’s another reason to address your body language separately: Your body informs your brain.

The way you use your body and how you feel in it affects your thoughts, emotions, perceptions, and brain chemistry. When you practice holding yourself a certain way or speaking with a certain voice pattern, it changes the way you see yourself and, eventually, how you think.

Change your body language, change your brain, change your life.
